T-ball's Starts this week!!!

So Andruw found out this week that he will be playing for the Red Sox. We are huge Giants fans so he was shocked at first but really he is just so excited to play. The season off to a little rocky start if ya ask me :) I am so excited to get out there and cheer for my little guy. He has been playing baseball since he could stand, so i know he is excited to be on a team now. His dad and I took him to the mall to get him a pro Sox hat this week. The look on his face was pure joy. It warms my heart so much to put a smile on my babys face. Miguel (Andruw's dad) is also going to help me buy a jersey, and he also got a Sox hat so we will be our sons biggest fans. lol. Our first practice is tomorrow at 8:30 am!!! That's very early for mommy but we will definetely be there with starbucks in hand :) Doesn't he look so cute in his outfit? Go Red Sox!

Volunteering in Andruw's Class

This week I was able to volunteer in Andruw's class for the first time this year. I was hoping to able to have gone a few times by now but work has kept me so busy. It was so fun to be able to go and see what Andruw does on a daily basis. We did a little bit of painting, and then went to the book fair. I remember always wanting my parents to give me money to buy books but they never did :( lol so i wanted to make sure and give Andruw money to buy a book. And guess what? I FORGOT my cash at home! I was so upset and mad at myself. Andruw was a little disappointed too. But we found out when we went that there was a "family night" later on in the week and the book fair would be open then so we went to that and bought 5 books! After the book fair, Andruw asked me to stay through lunch and recess so of course i did. Andruw actually goes to the same elementary school i went to as a child so it was kinda fun to be in the multipurpose room with the kids while they ate and goofed off with their friends. i got to see all the boys he hangs out with and the little girls that wave to Andruw all the time. I cant believe flirting starts in kindergarden! At recess the boys and girls chase eachother. lol. i know its innocent but i was definately shocked. Andruw played ball in the grass and showed me where they line up when its time to go back to class. He held my hand most of the day and showed me off. He was so proud to have his mama there, and i felt so proud to call him my son <3 I love you Andruw Miguel Navarro

Hello All

Hey everyone! I am so excited to be starting this blog. Ive watched my good friend, Olga document and share her and her families life for over a year now and realized i wanted to do the same. As most of you know i am a single mom to the most amazing and handsome 5 year old i know, Andruw Miguel Navarro. He is currently in his first year of school at Jackson Ave and is loving kindergarden. He is about to start tball soon and cant wait. Im also looking forward to being on the sidelines cheering on my guy. I remember being a little girl wondering and dreaming of what my life would look like when i was "grown up". Most of you know ive been addicted to romantic movies and happily ever after for as long as i remember. And all though my life might not be what i pictured when i was a little girl, i feel so blessed in my life. I am so lucky to have the 4 most amazing sisters, 2 of the best friends a girl could ask for, a growing relationship with god, and last but not least my reason for living, my son. I look forward to meeting new people and sharing Andruw and I's blessed life with you all <3
